A public THANK YOU to our maintenance staff last week for promptly handling almost 50 broken water pipes over a 5 day period. Some very long days were worked by the staff. We were able to repair all broken lines the same day reported. A few tenants experienced broken pipes on multiple days and while we felt bad for the tenants at least we were able to restore water quickly each time.
Only one home experience severe water damage due to a broken water line in the attic. The residents were out of town and apparently the heat was off – not a good combination when the weather is in the teens. Now the residents are off to spend a few weeks with family and we are dealing with the insurance companies. Glad the residents had renters insurance.
